1 min read

Dear Everyone,

The Alma Pub (499 Old York Road, SW18 1TF — opposite Wandsworth Town Station) which kindly made their lovely refurbished function room available to us free of charge can now let us have the same room available on Wednesday, 19 January 2011. We had originally planned to have our next meeting on Monday 17 January. In view of this offer by the Alma Pub, please note that we are switching the date to Wednesday, 19 January.

I am happy to let you know that the first part of the meeting will be a talk by Jeremy Leach:

JEREMY LEACH – Wednesday 19 January, 7.30 pm, The Alma Pub

Campaigning for slower speeds and more pleasant town centres – Learning from other parts of London.
Jeremy is a very experienced and knowledgeable member of the Southwark group of Living Streets. He is particularly interested in slower speeds on our residential and local shopping streets and how to make our town centres in London more pleasant places to spend time in.

In early January next year, I will send you a reminder, and the agenda for the business part of the meeting.
In the meantime, do feel free to get in touch with me on any matter relating to Wandsworth Living Streets.
With best wishes for the upcoming festive season!
