Local resident in Northcote Road
Brian Barnes (20 August 1944 - 28 November 2021) was an English artist.
He worked as a printmaker, in particular dealing with local campaigns and issues, and was also involved in the long-standing campaign to preserve Battersea Power Station. He founded the Battersea Power Station Community Group in 1983, to see that the listed building is preserved and that local people are involved in the redevelopment.
He was appointed a Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE) in 2005 for services to the community in Battersea, London.

15 years as Advertising Art director & later Copywriter and subsequently full time artist, printmaker...for most of my life! Have worked in both capacities in Italy and London.
Julika Gittner practices and teaches across the disciplines of art and architecture. Her work has been shown internationally and has recently been shortlisted for the Mark Tanner sculpture award 2021. In 2019 she was awarded the SWW AHRC DTP2 PhD studentship to undertake an interdisciplinary practice-based PhD in Fine Art and Architecture.

Dual qualified as a solicitor and barrister, and has 20 years’ experience negotiating contracts and specialising in construction law and disputes. She lived in Clapham Junction area for 10 years and is now based in the UAE.
Lynne is a designer/maker and joined the ACJ soon after it was founded.
Having originally studied chemistry and worked for many years in the Chemical Industry, jewellery is her second career.
Her recently completed PhD at the University of the Arts London combined both strands of her interests. The use of colour in jewellery has been a dominant theme in her work and she currently uses titanium and dyed anodized aluminium. She is an FGA and an examiner for the Gem-A Foundation Course in Gemmology and a member of the Colour Group (GB).

Peter Deakins is a British architect who, following an involvement in the design and construction of Golden Lane Estate as well as the original Barbican Centre designs, later created the master plan for the Lancaster West Estate in the mid-1960s, of which the Grenfell Tower was part.

Winner of the 20’s Plenty for Us 2017 Campaigner of the Year award have steadfastly campaigned for 20mph limits in the London Borough of Wandsworth for many years. The campaign evolved to include lower speed limits in a wider programme of improving the quality of life in Wandsworth and reducing road danger.
Robert passed away on the 31st January 2022.
Shirley was a founding member of the Wandsworth Society, sometime Chair, and constantly active Society member for over 45 years.
Shirley passed away on the 26th April 2017.
